**Total budget does not include shopping.

Travel Tips:

1. Do yourself a favor and bring enough cash if you plan to go shopping.
2. Platinum Mall and Chatuchak Market offers the best deals. We saw the same dresses sold in MBK mall for 299 THB that are 100 THB in Chatuchak.
3. It is true that staying in Khaosan Road can trap you. First reason is the place is so chill and has a lot to offer so you might not want to move out of the area. Second reason is it is far from BTS Skytrain so it is more costly to move around Bangkok from Khaosan Road.
4. If you have been to some awesome beaches and doesn't want to engage in prostitution, you may skip Pattaya.
5. Be sure to wear some comfy footwear when in Bangkok as it will include a lot of walking.
6. If you want to save of cab fare, use GrabCar/GrabTaxi. This would ensure that the cab driver will use meter instead of trying to rip you off.
7. The best Pad Thai and Thai Iced Tea are those sold in the streets.
8. Aside from Mango sticky rice, green mangoes with chili sauce are also a must try streetfood.
9. If you want to stay near Khaosan Road, it is best to book a hostel in Rambuttri Road as it is more quiet.
10. It is best to visit Chatuchak Market in the early morning because it can be really hot at midday.
